BSA Youth Protection

BSA Youth Protection Mission Statement

True youth protection can be achieved only through the focused commitment of everyone in Scouting. It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within the Boy Scouts of America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety at the national, regional, area, council, district, and unit levels.

Troop 441 encourages ALL parents to read the Youth Protection information page and take the BSA Youth Protection Training. You are required to complete the training and turn in your certificate to troop leadership if you plan on attending hikes, camps or joining the board - INVOLVEMENT IN ANY SITUATION WHERE YOU HAVE CONTACT WITH THE SCOUTS.

To take the training course, click on the badge below and set up an account. When you have completed the training, you will be issued a certificate. Please print it out and return it to a Troop 441 Leader.
