Emerald Bay Physical 2017 - The troop will have a night for physicals in May but if you want to get them done prior to this = GREAT! THE PHYSICALS MUST BE ON THE BOYS SCOUT FORM BELOW - NO EXCEPTIONS. MAKE SURE YOU FILL THIS OUT CAREFULLY AND INCLUDE ALL MEDICATIONS, IMMUNIZATION RECORDS, ALLERGIES, ETC... DADS & MOMS: IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON ATTENDING, YOU MUST HAVE THIS FORM FILLED OUT - NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Merit Badges - THIS IS WHY WE GO TO CAMP...MERIT BADGES. Merit badges are a wonderful part of the Boy Scouts because they each give a good amount of depth into many different topics (137 merit badges currently) that kids can learn about and see if they like that topic for later on in life. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE PRE-REQUISITES AND THE DIFFICULTY OF EACH MERIT BADGE. IF YOUR CHILD DOES NOT COMPLETE ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS AT CAMP, THEY RECEIVE A "PARTIAL"...WE DON'T WANT PARTIALS!!!! Ask other scouts or a Scout Leader if you have questions. Remember that Emerald Bay is the best spot to get a lot of the water merit badges! Learn more about the merit badges and their pre-requisites at: www.meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php/Merit_badges. Scroll down and find the merit badge you want and click on it to pull up the worksheet and requirements for the REQUIRED PRE-REQUISITES...YOUR SCOUT MAY NEED HELP WITH THIS PART.
