June 8th will be spent on the USS Iowa, camp starts June 9

Emerald Bay, located on the undeveloped West End of Catalina Island, California, enjoys unparalleled access to the natural gems of Catalina's singular ecosystem. Camp Emerald Bay offers a wide variety of summer opportunities for Boy Scouts all over the world. The camp typically serves over 4500 campers during our 10-week summer. Whether you are taking part in the first year rank advancement program or putting your skills to the test in the rigorous outdoor Rugged Adventurers program, the camp has something to offer any Scout. Even those that have attended Emerald Bay in the past have many chances to explore new heights and depths of scenic Catalina Island in the various Rugged Adventures programs.  The week-long stay will be broken into five periods each day, during which Scouts may take part in a number of merit badges and rank advancement opportunities.

Emerald Bay also offers a wide variety of Troop bonding activities such as kayaking, mountain biking, and snorkeling. You will also take part in the traditional Emerald Bay War Canoe, where you will join your troop for an incredible team building overnight experience on secluded Parson's Beach, just an hour's canoe ride away.
